Fried Calamari Escape
Crispy golden fried calamari served with a bright, tangy Brisca Grape Escape dipping sauce.

Brisca Herb 'n' Salt

flour
½ cup
cornstarch
1 tsp
paprika

oil for frying

Prep Calamari: Pat the calamari rings dry, place them in a bowl, and season with Brisca Herb 'n' Salt.

Coating: In a separate bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, and paprika. Add the calamari rings and toss until they are fully coated.

Fry: Heat frying oil in a deep pan. Once hot, fry the calamari rings for 2-3 minutes until golden and crisp. Transfer to a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Sauce Moment: Serve the fried calamari warm with Brisca Grape Escape as the dipping sauce.
Notes
If the calamari releases water, pat dry again before coating for maximum crispiness. For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of lemon before dipping into Grape Escape. Works beautifully as an appetizer or added on top of salads.
