Fried Shrimp Escape

Crispy golden fried shrimp coated in panko and served with a bright, tangy Brisca Grape Escape dipping sauce.

Ingredients

400g shrimp, peeled and deveined
⅛ tsp Brisca Herb 'n' Salt
½ cup flour
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp paprika
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
as needed oil for frying
6-7 tbsp Brisca Grape Escape
1 lemon, cut into wedges

Prep Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry and place them in a bowl. Season with Brisca Herb 'n' Salt.

Coating: Mix the flour, cornstarch, and paprika in one bowl. Place the panko in a separate shallow bowl. Coat the shrimp first in the flour mixture, then press into the panko until fully covered.

Fry: Heat frying oil in a deep pan. Once hot, fry the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until golden, crispy, and light. Transfer to a paper towel to remove excess oil.

Sauce Moment: Serve the crispy panko shrimp with Brisca Grape Escape as the dipping sauce.

Notes

Panko gives extra crunch - avoid overcrowding the pan so the coating stays crisp. Serve with lemon wedges for brightness. Works beautifully in tacos, wraps, or over salads.
